Worship
Worship is the center of Cathedral life, with the Holy Eucharist celebrated at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. each Sunday. The 8:00 a.m. service is a Rite I Eucharist with hymns. The 10:30 a.m. service is a Rite II sung Eucharist. Holy Eucharist is also celebrated in the chapel at 12:15 each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Worship is supported by a large group of lay readers, acolytes and ushers, who take various parts in the Sunday celebrations. The Cathedral Altar Guild provides crucial assistance in preparing the elements for worship. The Cathedral Choir sings at every Sunday 10:30 Eucharist, and at special Cathedral worship events.
