Music has always been an integral part of the worship service. From the Psalms that were sung every day in ancient Hebrew temples to the mixed styles of devotional hymns that we sing today, music has held a special place within the liturgy by unifying and heightening our response of the Word of God.

The Cathedral Choir

The Cathedral Choir is called to a special ministry. We actively participate in worship, setting a confident tone for the prayers and responses, enhancing worship with hymns and anthems and maintaining that unique Episcopal tradition of the sung Psalm.

The choir sings every Sunday (September – May) at the 10:30 a.m. service and other seasonal services.

Rehearsal is at 9:15 a.m. Sunday in the choir room. New singers are always welcome. Contact the Cathedral office for more information.
