Holy Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and makes us members of Christ’s Body, the Church, and inheritors of the kingdom of God. (Book of Common Prayer, page 858).
Baptism initiates people, by water and the Holy Spirit, into the Body of Christ. We baptize both adults and infants. The Cathedral Church of St. Paul joyfully welcomes new members into the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ through the sacrament of Holy Baptism. At St. Paul’s, baptism is incorporated into the regular worship services.
Those who desire baptism should contact the Cathedral office to set up a time of instruction with the Dean.
